Autokroma Influx is a specialized native plugin designed to let you import a massive variety of video extensions, containers, and audio/video codecs directly into the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. By utilizing an integrated ffmpeg backend, it completely removes the traditional need to use external software to transcode or convert files before editing.

Adobe Troubleshooting Mode: If Adobe’s native importer is buggy or fails on a standard format like .MP4 or .MOV, you can override Adobe by adding .influx to the end of your filename to force Influx to handle the file decoding.
Deep App Synchronization: Any project timeline created in Premiere Pro using Influx-imported footage will automatically carry over and decode perfectly when sent to Media Encoder or After Effects. Customization and Control
Rather than blindly taking over your computer, the plugin provides global settings panels. You can access these in Premiere Pro by right-clicking a project item and selecting Source Settings…. From there, you can choose from four distinct behaviors: Force Influx to override all Adobe importers.
